Originally released in 1990, the Air Jordan 5 "Black Metallic" became an instant hit. This iconic colorway does not only represent Michael Jordan's legacy in the NBA, but also the exciting sneaker releases Jordan Brand was creating. To celebrate this iconic design, Jordan Brand will be releasing a remastered version set to look exactly like the original pair in Spring 2025.
The remastered Air Jordan 5 OG “Black Metallic” will feature a premium construction with a fully Black nubuck upper, with Metallic Silver accents found on the tongue, shark teeth, and mesh mid-panel. Also expect to see a Blacked out midsole, with an aged translucent rubber outsole. Stay tuned for more updates regarding this release next year, for now, enjoy images of older releases.
